شرطة نيويورك تطلب المساعدة في ضبط متهم بالاعتداء على ضابط بمانهاتن
نشر رجال الشرطة صورًا لكاميرا المراقبة يوم الثلاثاء، ترصد وجه شاب، يشتبه في اعتدائه على شرطي بمانهاتن.
وطلبت الشرطة مساعدة الجمهور في التعرف على المشتبه به وتعقبه.
قالت الشرطة إن المشتبه به أصاب الضابط بشيء زجاجي، فيما تم القبض على مشتبه به ثان لنهب متجر في شارع ووكر حوالي الساعة 2 صباح 1 يونيو.
جاء ذلك بالتزامن مع احتجاجات هزت المدينة وشهدت عمليات نهب واسعة النطاق على مقتل جورج فلويد على يد رجال شرطة مينيابوليس.
وعولج الضابط في مستشفى مانهاتن من جروح في رأسه وخرج على الفور.
يوصف المشتبه به بأنه أسود ويتراوح عمره بين 20 و 25 عاما. كان يرتدي سترة سوداء وقميصا أبيض وجينز أزرق وحذاء رياضي أصفر.
